Fiberlock LBC Lead Barrier Compound White is a professional Type III interior/exterior lead encapsulant and sealant formulated to create a protective barrier between lead-based paint and the surrounding environment.

This thermoplastic-elastomeric, water-based copolymer coating is designed for high coverage, strong durability, and clean aesthetics while helping preserve historic and architectural detail. LBC is recognized as a permanent method for lead-based paint abatement when applied according to product guidelines.

LBC contains Bitrex®, a bitter-tasting ingredient intended to discourage oral contact with encapsulated lead paint surfaces. It is suitable for professional lead abatement, restoration, renovation, and maintenance projects.

Application Notes

• Apply only to clean, dry, sound surfaces free of dust, grease, mildew, loose paint, and other contaminants.

• Apply a minimum of two liberal coats when using brush or roller.
• Not recommended for friction, impact, or movable closure surfaces such as door jambs and window jambs.
